I forgot my password, what can I do?

You can reset your password through the Fixeo mobile application login page, using either your registered email address or mobile number.

I'm not receiving Fixeo emails, what can I do?

There are many reasons you may not be receiving our emails. Email providers sometimes mark our emails as spam so take a look in your junk mail folder. If any of our messages are in there, you should mark them as safe.

What software version do I need to download the Fixeo app?

The Fixeo app is available in both the App Store or Google Play. We’ve provided the links to both the iOS and Android Fixeo apps below. Be sure to click the link directly from your mobile device.

  • iOS Fixeo App: You need iOS 10,0 or later.

    Android Fixeo App: You need Android v4.4 or later.

Does it cost anything to post a job

It doesn’t cost anything to post a job on Fixeo

In which locations does Fixeo work?

Fixeo can be used across the globe but is initially available in the UAE, UK, 24/7, 365 days a year. We will be adding additional countries as we move along.

How do I post a job?

Download Fixeo mobile app for your iPhone or Android smartphone. Create your account in a few steps and simply select the category. It all starts with a photo or video. Complete the description to post your job in seconds.

What happens after I post my job?

After you post your job, it will be forwarded to all relevant tradespeople in your area. Those who are interested in completing your job will send you quotes. You will chat with your tradespeople and get the best deal.

Should I add a description to my job?

Yes. You should write a brief description.

Do job postings expire?

No. Jobs remain in the system unless they are cancelled or deleted.

Does Fixeo protect my personal details?

Yes, Fixeo protects your personal details according to GDPR laws. The System respects and takes care of the privacy of all its users.

Can I post jobs for multiple properties using one account?

Yes, you can post jobs for multiple properties from the same account.

Can I create a job somewhere other than where I am?

Yes, you can create a job to your registered addresses as well as where you are at that time.

Can I update my job details?

You can update your job description or photos whenever you want before the offer is accepted.

Is there a difference in urgent job creation compared to normal?

Yes, when you create an urgent job, alerts are sent directly to Tradespeople who have opted for the Urgent job feature and are online. This will make them return to you quickly.

Can I delete my job?

Yes. You can delete your job posting at any time, if you have not accepted the offer of any tradesperson.

Choosing Tradespeople

How should I choose the right tradespeople?

You should visit the profile of each Tradesperson and review their qualifications and reviews from other Fixeo clients.

I’ve hired the wrong person, what do I do?

If you have accidentally selected the wrong Tradesperson or changed your mind, you can cancel before the job has started.

My tradespeople never arrived, what can I do?

Firstly, try to make connect with your tradespeople. Wait for a while, if you still can't contact your tradespeople, you can cancel the job.

Ratings & Reviews

Should I rate my tradespeople?

Yes, once the job is completed you must provide a review based on your experience to share with other Clients.

How do I know that ratings are genuine?

Only people who have hired a tradesperson via Fixeo can submit a rating of that specific tradesperson when the job has been finished.

What if a tradesperson has no ratings?

Tradespeople without ratings have most likely just joined Fixeo. Though they don’t have ratings yet, this doesn’t mean they’re not quality tradespeople.

Disputes & Problems

I'm in dispute with a tradesperson, what should I do?

Firstly, you should discuss any problems with the tradespeople directly and try to work out a solution that suits both parties. You can message the tradespeople on the Fixeo App. The system logs communications between you both. You should give the tradespeople a reasonable period of time to address your concerns.

Does Fixeo offer any kind of guarantee or warranty?

Fixeo provides a platform that connects clients with tradespeople, through the power of genuine feedback. We don’t guarantee or insure work carried out by tradespeople. Warranties may be purchased separately through specialist third parties before work begins if this is important to you. Many tradespeople carry public liability insurance which covers accidental damage or injury to a third party or their property. Public liability insurance does not cover quality of work.

What if I have a dispute with a tradesperson about the completed work but have already paid them?

If there’s a dispute with the tradespeople, it’s important not to agree to release any funds before raising a dispute. Once you’ve paid the money, you can’t take it back. If there’s a problem after you’ve paid, you’ll have to resolve it with the tradespeople or get independent professional advice.

Does Fixeo offer a dispute resolution service?

Fixeo is a marketplace platform that brings clients and tradespeople together. When complaints arise between clients and tradespeople, we must remain impartial. We recommend that both parties attempt to resolve the matter between themselves.

Is Liability Insurance important?

Public liability Insurance covers your property, or the property of a third party, in the event of damage caused by works. It does not cover poor workmanship. We recommend you verify a tradesperson’s policy covers everything you need before agreeing to any work.
